Appointment of Howard Small and reappointment of Peter Hays.

MOTAT (two-year term)
Appointment of Kerryn Downey and Claudette Hauiti, and reappointment of James Doughty.

In conjunction with RFA and Auckland Council, the following have also been appointed by the respective independent bodies:

MOTAT Society to the Museum of Transport and Technology Board (two-year term) James (Grant) Kirby and reappointment of Nicholas Taylor.

“Facilities such as the Auckland War Memorial Museum and MOTAT play a huge role in enriching the lives of Aucklanders and preserving our heritage,” says Len Brown. “I want to express my appreciation to these Aucklanders for the contribution they are making.”

RFA, an Auckland Council council-controlled organisation, oversees $1 billion of major regional facilities in Auckland including Auckland Art Gallery and Auckland Zoo. It takes a region-wide approach to running and developing Auckland’s arts, culture and heritage, leisure, sport and entertainment venues.
