Helipro to deliver air ambulance services to Manawatu

Helipro looking forward to delivering homegrown air ambulance
services to Manawatu

HELiPRO is delighted to be given the opportunity to deliver air ambulance services to the people of Manawatu, Whanganui and Rangitikei.

Today the MidCentral Health announced HELiPRO had won its patient transfer services contract.

HELiPRO CEO Rick Lucas said the he was looking forward to provide high quality services to the people in the MidCentral Health catchment.

“While HELiPRO has operations throughout New Zealand and in Australia and Fiji our heart is in the lower North Island.

Mr Lucas said the MidCentral contract will be a collaboration with CREST (Central Region Emergency Services Trust).

“CREST was established in 2009 to support air rescue and air ambulance services in the central and lower North Island, and I am delighted to have such strong local support and oversight behind us.
