Pita Pit Official Sponsorship Partner For Netball NZ

Pita Pit is now an official sponsorship partner for Netball NZ and the Silver Ferns

Fast Facts
• Pita Pit is the new nutrition partner for Netball NZ and the Silver Ferns.
• Pita Pit offers a healthy eating choice that is part of the nutrition plan of the Silver Ferns on the go.
• Netball NZ has been approached by many quick-serve offerings but has chosen for the first time to enter into a partnership because Pita Pit shares the same values of good nutrition and healthy choices.

Netball New Zealand (NNZ) is very pleased to announce the healthy, quick service restaurant franchise Pita Pit as a new official sponsor of Netball New Zealand and the Silver Ferns.

Interim NNZ Chief Executive Malcolm Harris says Pita Pit is a perfect fit for the organisation.

“Pita Pit’s values and products align perfectly with Netball New Zealand as being a quality, healthy fresh food alternative.”

“Our premier female athletes are already fans of Pita Pit, so we are delighted with the partnership,” said Harris.

This is a partnership that gets the tick of Tracy Kirkcaldy, nutritionist for the Silver Ferns: "I'm genuinely thrilled about having Pita Pit on board. They have some great options that I can recommend to the team as choices on the go. Being able to customise ingredients means we can incorporate Pitas into our nutrition plans. It's really great news for us, healthy eating is such a huge part of winning."

Pita Pit actively promotes fresh food alongside healthy living, sport and fitness with a customised menu to order.

Pita Pit spokesperson, former Silver Fern Bernice Mene says the company is excited to be a partner.

“We are big Netball fans here, fanatical fans even! We are so excited to be able to work with the Silver Ferns to help promote healthy food choices, but equally excited to be working with grass-roots Netball. It's all about being part of something that is so positive for the country.”
