Adecco Appoints New Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand

Adecco Group has appointed Neil Jones as Country Manager Australia and New Zealand.

Neil will take up his position on 1 October after relocating from Singapore where he has been President of Pontoon Asia Pacific, Adecco Group’s contingent workforce solutions, recruitment process outsourcing and workforce consulting business.
Neil was central to the start-up of the Pontoon APAC operations and has played a key role in the growth and profit of Adecco’s APAC business.

“We are delighted that Neil has agreed to head up the Australian and New Zealand team. After eight years working internationally across the Adecco Group of companies and nineteen years industry experience, Neil brings with him strong commercial acumen and the ability to build and develop great talent,” says Patrick De Maeseneire, Chief Executive Officer, Adecco Group.

Neil joined Adecco UK & Ireland in 2005 as Sales and Marketing Director RPO.  In 2007 he was promoted to the role of Managing Director for Hypen in the UK, Adecco’s recruitment process outsourcing business. Prior to Adecco Neil worked for Elan IT for ten years.

“I am excited and looking forward to the opportunity to work with Adecco Group’s leadership team on the ground in Australia and New Zealand as we enter the next phase of growth for the company,” says Neil Jones. “I would also like to take the opportunity to say a big thanks to Jeff Doyle for the great work he has done here over the last four years”.

Neil Jones replaces Jeff Doyle who has been at Adecco’s helm for over four years and is leaving the company. “We thank Jeff for his contribution to the Australian and New Zealand business and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours,” adds Patrick De Maeseneire.
