Air New Zealand adds more seats to historic Samoa game

Air New Zealand will increase capacity between Auckland and Apia to coincide with next year’s historic first match between the All Blacks and Manu Samoa on Samoan soil.

The airline will operate larger Boeing 777-200ER aircraft in place of the scheduled Airbus A320 aircraft between the two ports on 7 July and 11 July to accommodate high demand due to the 8 July match.

The additional 311 seats these aircraft will provide to get fans to the game and back will be offered at a special flat rate Economy Seat fare of $489 one way (exclusive of tax).

Air New Zealand Chief Sales and Commercial Officer Cam Wallace says seats to Samoa for the game have sold like hotcakes.

“As proud supporters of the All Blacks, it’s fantastic to see so many people enthusiastic about this game and plan-ning to make the journey to Samoa to support their teams.”
