FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
26 September, 2014

World First: Century 21 New Zealand will turn its famous gold jacket pink in October

The most famous real estate jacket in the world will turn pink for the month of October, in an initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds for The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

The initiative will see Century 21 real estate agents across New Zealand wear limited edition pink jackets at their offices, at auctions, open homes and in their local areas during October.

“This devastating illness continues to touch the lives of sufferers and their loved ones across New Zealand, and like many other businesses our network is not immune to the impact of this,” said Century 21 New Zealand National Manager, Geoff Barnett.

“It is our hope that by changing our famous gold real estate jacket pink, we will be helping to generate greater awareness of the cause within New Zealand while raising funds for The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation,” said Geoff Barnett.

Century 21 is the largest real estate sales organisation in the world.

The gold jacket is synonymous with real estate globally, featuring in the original Ghost Busters movie and other films and television commercials.

Australian Century 21 staff will be joining their New Zealand counterparts in promoting the cause during October.
