Speight's Extends Summer

MEDIA RELEASE OCTOBER 2014

SPEIGHT’S EXTENDS SUMMER
INTRODUCING SPEIGHT’S SUMMER ALE

It’s fair to say there are few things better than a cold beer on a hot summer’s day, and with Speight’s Summer Ale you can enjoy the taste of summer all year round - because let’s face it, three months is not enough.

Speight’s Summer Ale joins the Speight’s Craft Range, a range of batch brewed beers that have been winning some serious international recognition at recent beer awards, including a rare silver at the 2014 World Beer Cup - reinforcing what we already knew - that Speight’s brewers are world class.

Anna Gestro from Speight’s says: “Speight’s recognises that Kiwis are starting to experiment with their beer palates and what might be good for one occasion is perhaps not what the other requires. Speight’s Summer Ale is a great example of the refreshing style of beer that Kiwis enjoy during a hot summer, and the team has worked hard to perfect this very drinkable number.”

Brewed using Munich and pale malts with a generous amount of Amarillo and Cascade hops, Speight’s Summer Ale is a beer that balances biscuity malt sweetness with hop bitterness, plus a little citrus and spice.

Speight’s Summer Ale will be available in 12 packs from October in all good liquor outlets RRP $24.99
