Manawatu Contact Centre Awards showcases talent in the region

FMG is proud to be part of the Manawatu Contact Centre Awards and to have picked up two honours during Friday’s award ceremony in Palmerston North.

New Zealand’s leading rural insurer won CSR Agent of the Year, with the award going to Phillippa Joll. Added to this great achievement Kylie Hughes collected the Professional Development award.

FMG’s National Sales Centre Manager Nick Bennetts says “the recognition is not only great for our teams, but for the region as well. The Manawatu provides unique opportunities for New Zealand businesses - and tapping into the highly skilled workforce right here on our doorstep is just one of them.

“These awards go a long way to highlight the great career opportunities in the Manawatu. We’re proud to be part of this thriving region - and as part of that employ around 270 people at our office in Palmerston North – as well as at our agribusiness centre in Feilding.

“As an organisation we ensure we invest in our employees, and everyone is encouraged to look for areas where they can further their professional development. It’s really important that our teams see there are opportunities to grow and progress through the ranks” says Mr Bennetts.

FMG is part of the Manawatu Contact Centre Cluster – a group of representatives from contact centres in the region that meet to set best practice, attract talent and increase the profile of the industry within the region.

“By working together with others in the industry, we’re helping set world-class benchmarks for what is an increasingly growing industry” says Mr Bennetts.
