Changes to Treble Cone & Cardrona’s Joint Lift Passes

MEDIA RELEASE

Monday 17 November 2014

Changes to Treble Cone & Cardrona’s Joint Lift Passes

Following a review of the way in which skiers and snowboarders have purchased and consumed our multi ski area products, Treble Cone and Cardrona will be replacing the OnePassNZ suite of products introduced in 2012, with a more streamlined Flexi 3 and Flexi 5 day lift pass in 2015.

In Winter 2015, guests seeking the flexibility to visit and ski or snowboard at both Cardrona and Treble Cone will have the option to purchase through a Flexi 3 or 5 day lift pass, allowing them to choose on a daily basis which ski area to visit, and enjoying the additional flexibility of being able to visit on non-consecutive days throughout the 2015 ski season.

The new Cardrona and Treble Cone Flexi 3 and 5 day lift passes will offer multi day value and will be available to adults, students, children and seniors, and prices will be released prior to Christmas.

Whereas the OnePassNZ previously allowed customers to convert lift passes to activities, customers who purchase the new Flexi 3 or 5 day lift passes will be offered a range of benefits and discounts at Wanaka and Queenstown activities and dining venues on presentation of their ‘Flexi’ lift pass.

The new Cardrona and Treble Cone Flexi 3 and 5 day lift passes will be available on mountain, in-town at the mountain offices and online via the ski area websites.

The Flexi 5 will make the perfect lift pass for skiers and snowboarders staying in Wanaka for their week long holiday. Whilst for skiers staying in nearby Queenstown the Flexi 2 or 3 will allow guests to enjoy the Southern Lakes two largest ski areas as part of a well rounded Queenstown holiday.

Individual ski area single and multi day lift passes, plus Snow Sports School products and programmes, and ski / snowboard rental will continue to be available direct from both ski areas.
