Parker Bridge appoints new National IT General Manager, New Zealand

Parker Bridge New Zealand continues its rapid growth in the New Zealand IT sector, with the recent appointment of James Wood. In his role as National General Manager IT, James’ emphasis will be on expanding the New Zealand IT recruitment offering, making good use of New Zealand, Sydney and Thailand offices networks to ensure that the highest calibre talent is sourced and placed in the New Zealand market.

James has extensive sales experience and IT industry recruitment knowledge which, given the level of growth Parker Bridge is experiencing, will add a new dimension to how Parker Bridge performs in this sector. His role sees him not only managing a team of industry experts specialising in IT Talent acquisition, but also contributing to the operational and strategic direction of the group.

Craig Hegan, Director of Parker Bridge New Zealand, comments, “Parker Bridge is experiencing unprecedented growth within the ICT sector across Asia-Pac, and as a result we are thrilled to announce the appointment of James Wood, National General Manager – IT Division. James is joining the Group at an exciting and critical growth period, and brings to the business a wealth of experience having run his own successful commercial sales business and most recently acted as the Regional Manager for a large Australasian IT recruitment consultancy.”

James comments, “I am excited to be a part of such a high performing and reputable organisation. Growth across the ICT Division is inevitable and in response to this increased demand we are developing strategic solutions that are focused not just on the now, but how to best respond to the ongoing demand. The quality of our consultants, each with unique skills, means that we are incredibly well placed to deliver to the markets requirements.”
