The prestigious event, which is the largest commercial property awards in the country to recognise excellence in the development and urban design sectors will be held on Friday 12 June 2015 at Auckland’s renowned Vector Arena.

Nominations are now open for what is anticipated to be the biggest gala dinner event to date.

The event is designed to celebrate New Zealand’s finest developments for 2015 which will include a judging process spanning more than three months. Judges will select finalists in categories ranging from office, retail and industrial properties, through to education and arts, tourism and leisure, urban land and heritage projects.

Property Council’s chief executive Connal Townsend says it is delightful to see this event grow in “Our awards night has been selling out year after year and it is a testament to how the sector is performing, and the hard work that goes into bringing the whole industry together in a night which everyone remembers for months to come.”

The judging panel go through a rigorous process of scheduled site visits, and reviewing properties against stringent submission criteria. Evaluation criteria include economic and financial factors, project vision and innovation (including degree of difficulty), design and construction, owner and user satisfaction, and sustainability and efficiency of operation.
