HeartRadio NZ launches In-Store Radio

HeartRadio NZ launches In-Store Radio to Optimise Retailer’s Businesses

12 March 2015 – NZME is expanding its premium offering with the launch of In-Store Radio powered by iHeartRadio NZ, to provide a key service for retailer businesses across New Zealand.

In-Store Radio powered by iHeartRadio NZ is a cost effective way for retailers to create a customised station that plays in-store to create ‘the right’ environment and communicate key messages to customers. Globally, In-Store Radio services have become a must-have for top retailers that wish to showcase their brand and influence customers’ shopping experience.

“The atmosphere of the in-store environment is vital to a consumers overall shopping experience but often overlooked, what actually gets played is left to chance. Perhaps a staff member plays their favourite CD or tunes into a radio station that plays their competitors advertisements,” says Carolyn Luey, Group Director Strategy and Operations.

In-Store Radio is programmed to match music and content to the target audience that will appeal to listeners in and out of store, in turn amplifying sales and marketing objectives.”

In-Store Radio powered by iHeartRadio NZ uses a new technical solution to deliver customised streams over the internet, so fresh messaging and content can be updated immediately. It also has a back-up programme built into the hardware should for technical reasons the main stream fails.
