Bonson-Savpac Improve Food Quality And Safety at Dad’s Pies

Dad’s Pies, one of New Zealand’s oldest and largest supplier of premium quality pies and pastry products, have honoured Bonson Savpac with their Food Safety Award.

Dad’s Pies supply premium pies to Air New Zealand, Wild Bean Cafe, Esquires, BP2Go outlets, and good supermarkets all over New Zealand. The company’s products have also become firm favourites in many offshore markets, including Australia, Dubai, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and Vietnam.

“Dad’s Pies are recognised all over New Zealand and around the world for their quality. This award recognises Bonson-Savpac’s commitment to helping us improve the quality and safety of our products and strengthening the brand’s reputation,” says Denis Vitner, Operations Manager at Dad’s Pies.

Every Dad’s Pie is baked to perfection in special foil trays supplied by Bonson-Savpac. As well as providing a sustainable packaging solution, the foil trays offer superior heat distribution and integrate seamlessly into the company’s purpose built bakery.

“The team at Bonson-Savpac helped us optimise our set-up to work better with the foil packaging, and are always immediately on-hand to support us through any issues,” confirms Vitner. Bonson Industrial has partnered with Bombay Petfoods to consolidate the Jimbo’s range of packaging into a single design that offers improved production efficiencies and greater consumer appeal.
