Kennards Hire Albany Wins Gold!

It is with great pride that Kennards Hire’s flagship branch in Albany, New Zealand has been awarded a Gold Hire Excellence Award by the Hire Industry Association of New Zealand.

Branches demonstrating innovative layouts and internal structures, strong and prominent branding, a commitment to customer service and operational efficiency are recognised by HIANZ to reward them for their contribution to the hire industry in New Zealand.

Nic Taylor, Branch Manager at Kennards Hire in Albany accepted the award from HIANZ, and was incredibly pleased and proud to receive the recognition.

“Kennards Hire is a long standing family business in Australia, but our presence in New Zealand only dates back 3 years,” Nick explained.

“We’ve made a really concerted effort to make an impact on the NZ hire industry in that time, and this Gold Hire Excellence Award is a wonderful acknowledgement of the hard work that countless Kennards Hire staff members have put in throughout the company’s time here.”

Kennards Hire established a presence in New Zealand three years ago when they acquired McEntee Hire. Over the past three years a Auckland-wide rebrand of McEntee Hire was undertaken, Kennards hire then expanded into Wellington opening a new branch in Newtown and last year entered the South Island through acquiring City Hire a three branch hire company in Christchurch. Kennards Hire has continued to improve through, training staff, upgrading equipment and worked hard on customer service excellence. The development of the Auckland network has kept Northern Area Manager, Tom Kimber, very busy.

It’s a special moment for Kennards Hire in New Zealand, and for Nic and his team in Albany.”
