East Day Spa celebrates World Spa Award success

East Day Spa celebrates World Spa Award success

Having pampered several international celebrities including Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Heidi Klum, Usher and Pink, East Day Spa is now also being recognised on the world stage. East Day Spa has been awarded both Oceania’s Best Hotel Spa and New Zealand’s Best Hotel Spa in the World Spa Awards, outshining finalists in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific for the awards.

The inaugural World Spa Awards for 2015 reward unsurpassed service excellence from the world’s leading spas and aim to set a definitive benchmark of excellence in the rapidly growing global spa industry.

East Day Spa’s Founder and CEO Ina Bajaj, says she is immensely proud of her team and pleased to see East Day Spa recognised alongside the world’s best through these international awards.

“Over the past decade we have been committed to delivering uncompromising quality, innovation and service excellence. We are honoured to receive one of the highest accolades in the spa industry,” she says.

East Day Spa is a haven of calm, wellness and beauty in the heart of Auckland city. East meets West with a range of expertly crafted massages inspired by ancient Eastern healing traditions, which are offered alongside modern beauty therapies.

East Day Spa recently celebrated a decade long partnership with the five-star SKYCITY Grand Hotel. SKYCITY’s Chief Operation Officer and Auckland General Manager John Mortensen, says SKYCITY is proud to have such a positive partnership with a world-class spa that shares the same five-star service attitude as the Grand Hotel.

“East Day Spa has a long relationship with our staff and guests, and has always provided an exceptional service that is more than worthy of this accolade,” he says.

Votes in the World Spa Awards were cast by professionals working within the spa industry, senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents and hundreds of thousands of spa consumers in more than 90 countries.
