A Slew Of New Appointments At The Instillery

A Slew Of New Appointments At The Instillery

Mike Jenkins, CEO & founder of 100-percent Kiwi-owned cloud advisory & managed services provider The Instillery, is rapt to announce the appointment of three new team members. High demand and fast growth in New Zealand and the USA has seen the need for more full-time staff to join their dynamic Parnell team.

Emma Krouglova joins The Instillery in the newly created role of World-Wide Business Development Executive. Emma brings a wealth of account management experience after more than 6 years of working in retail, tourism and SaaS, most recently in a 4-year career with Kiwi-owned global SaaS business VEND. Emma will lead The Instillery’s Worldwide Sales team, working closely with Mike Jenkins, Brenna Townshend (Marketing & PR manager), Michael Hoole (Cloud Activations Team Leader) and the wider Instillery team across key accounts and new business prospects in both New Zealand and the USA.

Matt Hare has joined the team as Principal Cloud & DevOps Consultant, bolstering the Consulting practice of the Kiwi-based Instillery team. It’s a massive opportunity for our existing crew to learn from the best – Matt brings a few (well overdue) grey hairs to the team, as well as unparalleled experience and knowledge gained from working in Cloud, Development and DevOps with a large range of enterprises, digital agencies & SaaS providers, both here and in the UK, including Touchcast, Cornerstone & Smallworlds.

Bram Horton joins the team as Cloud Services Architect. Bram was most recently a DevOps engineer at Spark Digital and IB Boost (Europe) and brings more than five years of experience in design and administering Linux systems to The Instillery. Bram is highly experienced in in-house app development and the application of DevOps. He brings with him a huge amount of passion and a laser focus on automating the build and operation of our clients’ cloud infrastructure for scalable business applications, while driving continuous improvement and deployment methodologies.

"We’ve been through an extensive process to ensure these awesome new talents are in line with The Instillery culture and mission and to ensure that they will complement the existing team members who have been here since day one,” says CEO and founder, Mike Jenkins.

“It also means I will be able to spend more time leading new and exciting strategic initiatives, working closely with our clients as we refine our service portfolio – and less time on remote video conferences and long distance commutes, much to the excitement of my wife and kids.”

“I’m hugely excited about the next evolution of The Instillery in 2016. We’re focused on ensuring that we meet our critical business targets by scaling up the current operation through this expansion and new partnerships to service the rapid demand we are experiencing both here in NZ and the US, as well as continuing to deliver an amazing customer experience to our existing client base.”

Mike also farewells founding member, Andy Cronin.

"It's with a tinge of sadness and a lot of pride that I announce Andy Cronin is moving on to the next chapter of his IT career. Having been at The Instillery since day one post an outstanding career with IBM, Andy has committed two outstanding years to us but he’s ready for his next challenge, following his passion to return to the world of large enterprise as a CIO on the client side. Andy’s last day as Director of Technology & Talent was January 31, but he'll remain on board in a consulting capacity through to the end of the financial year to support the team as we transition and bolster the business for the future. As a founding father, Andy will always be a lifetime Instillery team member and great friend."

The expansion of the NZ-based team has also necessitated a move in offices - for the first time, The Instillery has its very own space at 12 Heather Street, Parnell.
