Leading Marketing Specialist Joins Salt & Pepper PR

Leading Marketing Specialist Joins Salt & Pepper PR

Salt & Pepper PR, New Zealand and Australia’s original food and drink PR consultancy, has appointed Nick Bell to the position of Marketing Director. Nick will be assisting with digital strategies, branding, creative PR concepts, results measurement and account management.

Nick Bell is an experienced, multiple award winning marketer with 10+ years experience in the Australasian advertising industry. He joins Salt & Pepper from Colenso BBDO/Proximity where he worked on developing interactive videos, and product launches, including Spark Web Builder. He has previously held senior positions at FCB and Twenty NZ, working on campaigns for Liquorland, Watties, The Heart Foundation NZ, ANZ, BMW, Mini and Air New Zealand.

Salt & Pepper PR has created high-impact national and international campaigns for some of the country’s best known food and drink brands, along with subtler business-to-business, internal and other stakeholder communications. Since it was founded in 2012, the consultancy has secured millions of dollars worth of coverage in print and online publications across the globe, as well as on TV and radio.

Salt & Pepper PR was established by public relations professional, Jennifer Boyes when she realised that no other consultancy was specialising purely in the food and beverage space - an industry that is rapidly expanding and evolving in New Zealand. Campaigns of note include Hell Pizza’s Angry Dragon, which resulted in the brand’s highest ever sales; KidsCan Christmas Cups for The Coffee Club, which generated TV and newspaper coverage last year; and this year’s National Watermelon Month for LeaderBrand, which was discussed on radio, in print media, and on multiple blogs and social media channels.
