Century 21 ‘home loans’ prove popular

The move by Century 21 New Zealand into the highly competitive home loans market is proving to be popular with clients, says Geoff Barnett -National Manager of Century 21 New Zealand.

“With the big retail banks generally getting tougher on home loaning, we’re certainly getting more enquiries regarding our new mortgage broking service which we only launched a few weeks ago.”

Mr Barnett says every Century 21 office in New Zealand can now effectively access a wide range of lending deals for its clients.

“We’re dealing with large and smaller banks, credit unions and non-bank lenders. In many cases Century 21 has greater access to more borrowing flexibility, opportunity and choice than what a traditional mainstream retail bank can offer.

Century 21’s new comprehensive home loans service offers finance for first homes, next homes, investment properties or those who just want to refinance their existing home loan.

Mr Barnett says his company is looking forward to another strong summer helped by solid population growth, an ongoing shortage of homes, record low interest rates, and healthy levels of consumer and business confidence.

“Century 21 is actively harnessing the market momentum we continue to see nationwide in real estate. We’re on a deliberate growth drive across New Zealand - keen to build on our already world-famous brand and reputation for superior client service.

“Without doubt Century 21 is a strong and growing real estate brand here. We’re listing a lot more properties, opening more branches, employing more people, and we’re determined to get more Kiwis into home ownership.”

He says early indications show the new home loans service is only strengthening the company’s place and profile in the local real estate marketplace.

“Getting into the business of home loans is turning out to be a huge plus for Century 21 New Zealand and our clients,” says Mr Barnett
