Designworks Wellington Welcomes Back Shayne Priddle

Designworks Wellington Welcomes Back Shayne Priddle as Client Services Director

Wellington, December 6, 2016: Designworks Wellington has appointed Shayne Priddle as Client Services Director Wellington, responsible for the leadership of the client services team and developing client relationship strategy as a core discipline.

Priddle will join the senior leadership team and work with Managing Director Vic Smith to continue the growth and evolution of the business. He starts on the 19th December.

He held the same role at Designworks for five years before departing to Ocean Design in 2013, where he was Strategy Director and most recently Practice Lead.

Smith said: “We are super excited to welcome Shayne back to the Designworks family. He is a brilliant operator, fantastic with clients, a team player and highly respected in the industry. His ability to understand the often complicated world of clients and bring answers to the table, whilst balancing pragmatism and ambition is rare.”

Priddle said: “I loved my time at Designworks and am really looking forward to coming home. Their relentless pursuit of designing the most loved and successful brands across Australasia is truly brilliant. They never sit still, continuing to evolve the offering in line with the needs of consumers, the market and clients, which is really enviable. While everybody might be talking about integrated brand experience, Designworks is actually doing it.

“I’m really looking forward to working closely with Vic, Helen Milner (Creative Director) and Chris McDermott (Head of Innovation) and the whole team to bring the power of design to our clients and brands. For me success hinges on building a mutual understanding of what needs to be achieved and going after that purposely and respectfully. I look to deliver results that create value. I want to see change that works. And I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
