Hell Proves Fast Can Be Good

Hell Proves Fast Can Be Good with Launch of New Zealand’s Healthiest Pizza

The Saviour has a 4-star health rating, a specially designed sprouted seed base, and is packed with more fruit & veggies than you can shake a stick at

This week (Friday 5 May), HELL is launching the healthiest pizza in New Zealand. The Saviour is made up of a sprouted seed, gluten-free base, which has been specially designed and created for HELL. It is topped with free range chicken breast, spinach, avocado, Portobello mushrooms, almonds, and fresh slaw.

Each sprouted seed base is rich in fibre and packed with minerals, including potassium, iron, magnesium, manganese and vitamins B1 and B6. Each ingredient was carefully selected for its nutritional benefits, and many of the toppings are considered health food superstars. Spinach, for example, is teeming with vitamins A,C, and K, as well as folate, potassium, magnesium, and iron. The Portobello mushrooms also pack a healthy punch, being high in fibre, and low in saturated fats, cholesterol, and calories.

The Saviour carries a 4-star health rating. The system is recognised by MPI, and helps consumers make healthy food choices. It rates the food by checking its balance of nutritional content, including energy, risk nutrients, and beneficial components. The final result is a tasty pizza which is a good source of protein, low in sugar, and an excellent source of fibre.

HELL General Manager, Ben Cumming says:

“The Saviour takes healthy eating to the next level, and means that even health food lovers can indulge in takeaway pizza without feeling guilty. It’s the ideal choice for anyone who is conscious about their diet, health, and fitness.

“HELL already sells a range of healthy foods, including salads and vegan pizzas, but we see this as a major step forward into the healthy food market. If The Saviour becomes as popular as we expect it to, then it could launch a whole new range of super healthy food options at HELL.”

While being touted as the ultimate healthy takeaway meal, HELL has also been careful to ensure that the pizza is as delicious as its existing menu options.

“It was essential to us that the product tastes great, so mozzarella cheese was an essential component we couldn’t leave out. There is just a bit less of it than you would find on a traditional pizza. The toppings, from the avocado to the slaw, which is packed full of wholefoods, have all been chosen for their divine flavours and textures, as well as their health benefits.”

The cost of The Saviour is $25 for a double pizza, or $12.50 for a snack pizza. It will be available from all 69 HELL stores and will hopefully become a permanent menu item.
