A Special ‘Speed Networking’ Session at SIT’s Downtown Campus

Throughout the month of October, Southern Institute of Technology has partnered with the Southland Chamber of Commerce to hold a special ‘Speed Networking’ session at SIT’s Downtown campus.

These sessions are to provide Southland businesses and prospective future employers, a platform to have a face to face opportunity to meet and gauge the calibre of SIT’s Graduate Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters students. These students are undertaking study in Business Enterprise, Management, Accounting and Information Technology and are keen to establish relationships with local businesses as future professionals.

An excellent opportunity for both businesses and students, it will demonstrate the potential for students to launch their careers in Invercargill and Southland, as well as providing businesses the opportunity to promote themselves to students.

Each business will have five minute discussions with students over a ninety-minute period, without any obligation or commitment for employment. Employers will be given copies of CV’s from all the students in attendance and will be able to contact them if they wish to further discussions.

Held on Wednesday 18 October from 3.30 -5.00pm at the SIT Business Hub, SIT Arcade, Don Street, Invercargill.
