Early Bird guide promises to make parking a breeze

Parking app’s Early Bird guide promises to make parking a breeze

MEDIA RELEASE
Wednesday, 25 October 2017

In a first, Inugo has released an Early Bird parking app that shows an overview of parking prices throughout central Auckland. The mobile parking technology company aims to make Early Bird parking headache-free for commuters.

Prices vary hugely – from a low of $12 a day to a whopping $35. Inugo has researched all central Auckland’s car parks and listed them, with their pricing, on an easy-use map. The Inugo app also links to Google Maps, so users can also tap in a car park address and get directions if they need them.

“Inugo is the only place where you can see all parking prices and locations in a single, easy-to-use app,” says Inugo CEO, Sam Barclay.

The app also lists hourly and long-term parking options and their prices, which, again, vary hugely.

Drivers will soon be able to use Inugo to pay for parking too, saving on time and on the fuss of using a ticket machine.

“We are installing smart-gate connectors on barriers and gates across Auckland car parks, and this will make parking so much easier and safer, as well as ticket-free,” says Barclay.

The Inugo app works on both the iPhone and Android phones, and can be downloaded for free via either Google Play or Apple’s App store.
