VeNA Announces Exclusive NZ with Perform Media

VeNA Announces Exclusive New Zealand Partnership with Digital Sports Content and Media Company Perform Media

Local ad tech platform VeNA and digital sports content and media company Perform Group, have announced an exclusive advertising representation agreement for New Zealand, opening up a wider range of possibilities for brands to reach sports fans and predominantly male audiences.

A new breed of sports fans have emerged – they are connected globally and socially, united through their love of the game and are smart, early adopters. They demand a different, more intensive approach to content delivery via multiple channels. Perform’s mission is to connect this audience to a world of sport by supplying some of the quickest, most detailed and most engaging content, managing a network of wholly-owned global media brands and delivering premium sports content directly to fans.

Key media properties for NZ audiences include Goal.com, Sportingnews.com, Supercars.com, NBA.com, MLB.com, NHL.com, WWE.com and NFL.com. Additionally, Perform Media’s ePlayer reaches sports fans with high quality video content and up to the minute sporting content via 2,000 of the world’s big-name news publishers.

This new partnership will not only cover video, but will include display, bespoke content and sponsorship opportunities. “We have been working with the VeNA team for some time on monetising our video inventory, and see the potential to align our relationship further to now offer NZ advertisers the opportunity to engage with our audiences across all of our formats” says Adam Payne, Perform Media’s Vice President Advertising Sales ANZ “the timing couldn’t be better as our New Zealand sports content and audiences continue to grow”.

“With many of the sports that Perform cover in season including the NBA, NFL and Premier League, there is a massive audience potential for brands to engage with in the coming months and beyond” says Toni Knowles, VeNA’s General Manager NZ. “Sporting content offers brand safe and engaging environments, and we look forward to bringing more options to the NZ market via both managed IOs and programmatic private marketplace deals”.
