XE Data Update - NZ Q4 GDP Release


The NZ GDP for Q4 has just been released.

The GDP for Q4 came weaker than forecast overall:

Adjusted GDP Q4/ Annual :

GDP +0.6% / +2.3% Consensus +0.6% / +2.5%

NZ GDP over the last 12 months has increased by 2.8%.

The RBNZ had previously forecast +0.8% for Q4 GDP.

The NZD is a lower in immediate response.
