New Zealand company’s digital work voted the best in the World.
At the 31st John Caples Awards for Direct Marketing Excellence held in New York today, AIM Proximity won the Sackheim Best In Show award for their interactive ‘Get in on the secret’ Valentine’s Day campaign for client The Warehouse. In a move that stunned the audience, the judges also awarded the AIM Proximity campaign for Yellow Pages Group the coveted Courageous Client award, for “innovative advertising an insecure client would never authorise.” This is the first time in the Caples’ 31 year history that the one agency has won Caples’ two most prestigious awards.
AIM Proximity, together with their sister agency Colenso BBDO also won an elusive gold award for Vodafone.
Speaking about the success AIM Proximity CEO Darryn Melrose said; “This is a fantastic result for our clients The Warehouse, Yellow, Vodafone and for us as an agency. In these recessionary times every dollar of marketing spend really needs to count and be measured. It’s great to be recognised as doing the best in the World at this.
Dave King, Creative Director at AIM Proximity added, “People often complain here about how our lack of broadband speeds stops us competing creatively on the world stage. These awards go to prove that by using Kiwi smarts we can overcome these constraints and lead the World.”
