NEW APPOINTMENT: IAN LAMB, DIRECTOR OF MARKETING CONSULTING THE SIMPL GROUP, WELLINGTON

The Simpl Group has appointed Ian Lamb as Director of Marketing Consulting. This appointment has been made as Simpl recognises the need for businesses to maximise their investment in IT systems and IT professional services.

Cost reduction, profit stream generation, responding to the marketplace ahead of competitors, customer relationship marketing, and understanding the opportunities presented by e-commerce are some of the challenges facing organisations today. Simpl is recognised as one of this country's leading providers of independent IT professional services.

The Group's expertise in strategic and technical consultancy, project management and implementation, and software development is sought by many national and international organisations. Most recently Group Manager Retail for Powerco Limited, Ian brings with him over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing roles. These include General Manager NZ Beef and Lamb Marketing Bureau, Managing Director Tactical Marketing Limited, and Marketing Manager for the Pork Industry Board.

Ian's role will be to assist clients in adding value to their businesses by identifying key drivers to change and integrating them with Simpl's considerable experience in the areas of IT specification, selection, development and implementation.
