Julie Biuso's latest book Fresh is already following in the successful footsteps of last year's award-winning take a vine- ripened tomato.
Barely a day after it hit the bookshops Fresh was been shortlisted for an award in the Best Photography category of this year's World Cookbook Fair Awards. Ian Batchelor's sumptuous photography captures the essence of Fresh, an enticingly desirable collection of recipes that focuses on fresh ingredients and seasonal produce.
Fresh will be launched on Friday September 22 by RRP: $34.95 New Holland Publishers (NZ) Ltd.
Biuso and Batchelor's previous book, take a vine-ripened tomato., won the award for the Best Mediterranean Cuisine Book at the 1999 awards. More than 1,500 books were entered in last year's awards, and the organisers have advised that they've received even more entries this year, from 26 countries, in 16 languages.
This year's winners will be announced on 11 November at a gala dinner during the World Cookbook Fair in Perigueux, France.
