‘Get On Board’ At The America’s Cup Parade

WHAT: Air New Zealand invites you to ‘get on board’ and be part of the America’s Cup 2003 fever as it hits the street before the water!

Join thousands of fellow Kiwis to commemorate the start of this famous sporting event by attending the America’s Cup 2003 opening parade in Auckland.

WHY: To celebrate the start of the America’s Cup 2003 and show Team New Zealand your support.

WHEN: Starts 4pm, Saturday September 28, 2002

WHERE: The parade kicks-off from Mayoral Drive, proceeds down Queen Street, turns left into Customs Street, right into Albert Street, left into Quay Street, arriving at American Express Viaduct Harbour. (See attached map).

HIGHLIGHTS: All nine challengers will be part of the opening parade as well as the America’s Cup-holding Team New Zealand Opportunity to welcome the crews of all the America’s Cup syndicates to Auckland before the Louis Vuitton Cup starts on October 1 Show Team New Zealand you’re ‘on board’
