Big day out for Avondale

Avondale Fun Day, on Saturday 29 November, promises to be a colourful community day full of local performances, free entertainment, stalls and fun activities.

The event will be held at Avondale Primary School and Avondale Town Centre from 10am - 2pm.

Event organiser Sal Cameron says: “We’re anticipating a great day! One that’ll give the local Avondale community a chance to celebrate their diversity and talents as well as experience lots of fun, community driven activities.”

Local talent includes the Kotuku Ki Panuku Kapahaka Group, the Church Band Choir, Jazz Santas, Avondale Primary School and the Kelston Boys Rap Group (“Specifix”).

The free annual event is organised by Auckland City Council and the Avondale Business Association as part of the Free Summer series.

Come along and support your family, friends and community!
