Once Were Warriors Public Promotion Performances

Following its successful seasons in Christchurch and Dunedin the musical drama Once Were Warriors is moving onto the North Island leg of its national tour.

In Auckland Once Were Warriors will be performed at The St James Theatre and in Wellington at The Opera House.

The public will be able get a taste of the production at a number of promotional performances at Auckland's Westfield Malls and on campus at Manukau Institute of Technology, Auckland University and Unitec as follows:

Tuesday 6th April 12pm Manukau Institute of Technology Student Services Centre Tuesday 6th April 3pm Westfield Pakuranga Wednesday 7th April 12pm Unitec Students Union Thursday 8th April 12pm Auckland University Students Union Thursday 8th April 1pm Westfield Downtown Thursday 8th April 6pm Westfield West City Wednesday 14th April 12.30pm Lynn Mall City Friday16th April 1pm Botony Town Centre Saturday 17th April 12pm Westfield Shore City Saturday 17th April 2pm Westflield Glenfield

The Wellington promotional schedule will be finalised in the coming week.

The musical drama Once Were Warriors based on Alan Duff's landmark novel, follows the trials and ultimate triumph of the Heke family as they strive for a better life.

Once Were Warriors opens to the public at the St James Theatre on Saturday the 10th of April, 7.30pm. For more information, check your local listings or contact Ticketek.
