Who could forget last season’s top rating show on Maori Television as Tamehana Campbell from Wanganui took out the first series with his fabulous rendition of Incomplete? Auditions are open to Maori singing talent of all ages and experiences as a diverse range of performers and musical styles are sought. “Our only discrimination will be based on talent!” says Parata.

To register interest in “maorioke” series two auditions, contact Mauri Ora Productions on 06 864 7070 or maraki.parata@xtra.co.nz. North Island registrations will close December 10 2004, while South Island potentials have until January 7 2005 to get their registrations in.

The new series is scheduled to make a debut on the Maori Television schedule in the early months of 2005.
