Easy Travel To Big Day Out

Easy Travel To Big Day Out

Concert goers to the Big Day Out at Ericsson Stadium this Friday the 21st January can travel there and back the easy way, on a special Stagecoach Express bus.

Buses will depart to the Big Day Out every 15 minutes, starting at 9.15am, from Real Groovy Records, 450 Upper Queen St. All buses will travel direct to Ericsson Stadium with the last bus at 3pm.

Return buses depart from directly outside Gate B at Ericsson Stadium starting at 9.30pm. The last bus from the stadium departs at approximately 11.45pm. All buses return direct to the St. James on Queen Street.

The fare is $5.00 cash each way. No other passes or fares accepted.

NiteRider buses, which leave from outside the St. James and Civic Theatres, are an ideal way for those ‘Big Day Outers’, partying on in town after the concert, to get home. NiteRider buses depart between 1am and 3am every Friday and Saturday night. The fare is either $4 or $6 depending on where you are going, and most Auckland suburbs have a NiteRider service.

To get more information on the special Big Day Out Express Bus Service, or for NiteRider and other connecting bus timetables, intending passengers should phone Rideline on 366 6400 or visit the Stagecoach web site at http://www.stagecoach.co.nz
