Hyundai reaches soccer-mad Kiwis with Fan Corner microsite

New Zealand missed qualifying for the FIFA World Cup but thanks to Hyundai Kiwi fans can share the buzz of this, one of the world’s greatest sports events.

Hyundai worldwide, a major backer of the cup, has launched an array of programmes for countries like ours which did not make the final 32.

The Hyundai Football World Championship is one of a series of exciting participation events reached via the Hyundai Fan Corner within www.FIFAworldcup.com

Hyundai, a strong supporter of football as well as the Olympics and a range of other international mega-sports, has rolled out a worldwide series of World Cup happenings.

Goodwill Ball Road Show sends 32 giant balls, each measuring 4m in diameter, to each of the qualifying countries on a national tour to collect the autographs and best wishes of football fans before being finally sent to Germany for the Goodwill Ball Finale to be held on the eve of the opening match of the cup

Be There with Hyundai provides football fans with a chance to create team slogans for their respective national teams. Team bus livery during cup will sport the winning slogan and will get extensive international media exposure.

An exclusive and unique program, Fan of the Match will bring a new interactive element into the game. It will provide a lucky few with the opportunity to be introduced on the stadium’s giant screen as the ‘best fan of the match’ and win valuable prizes. It could be a Kiwi: hundreds if not thousands of New Zealanders will see cup games live.
