TVNZ to Award Free Advertising Time to NZ's Worthy Causes

TVNZ is pleased to announce the launch of its next round of free on-air advertising time for New Zealand's worthy causes.

For over 20 years, the 'TVNZ Community Support Foundation' has provided over $30 million dollars' worth of free on-air advertising time to help not-for-profit, or charitable organisations, promote their services and educate New Zealanders to build a better community.

This year, TVNZ is keen to hear from registered charitable organisations who are dedicated to creating a better New Zealand, and who will commit to a three-year partnership with the broadcaster, which will include pro-active marketing and communications support.

TVNZ's CEO, Rick Ellis, says the broadcaster is proud to be able to support organisations that do so much to improve the lives of New Zealanders and their communities.

"The Foundation will not only provide valuable advertising support but will also offer strategic direction to assist worthwhile organisations to meet their objectives," he says.

Further information and an application form can be found on tvnz.co.nz (key word: Community Support). Applications close 5pm, December 9, 2006.
