Showbiz Queenstown Announce Major Sponsor for The Wizard of Oz

Showbiz Queenstown is excited and very happy to announce the confirmation of Queenstown United Travel & i-SITE as the Major Naming Sponsor for this years production of the Wizard of Oz.

Showbiz President Marty Newell said it is fantastic to have a local business like Queenstown United Travel and i-SITE (Queenstown Travel & Visitor Centre Ltd) working with Showbiz to produce The Wizard of Oz, and we’re looking forward to a rewarding partnership for us both.

Queenstown United Travel and i-SITE Visitor Centre Manager Matt Wong said that they are proud to be involved with a performing arts group which has had its roots firmly placed in the community for over 30 years, and is please to be able to support a fantastic community initiative, which offers a sense of pride within the community.

He added that he is still amazed at the wealth of talent Showbiz Queenstown attracts and the positive direction that they are moving in.

The Wizard of Oz is currently in rehearsals and the season runs at the Queenstown Memorial Hall from the 13th to the 22nd September 2007.
