Web Site Takes Donations For Lost World Cup Dream

A web site has been set up to accept donations to help a Tauranga couple save their World Cup dream after they lost $11,000 renting a campervan that didn't exist, and then had their money and All Blacks match tickets stolen from a tour bus.

Hineawe and Everitt Rangi saw their trip of a lifetime disappear when they arrived in France to find no campervan waiting for them.

Without their accommodation for the next five weeks, the Rangis were forced to borrow a tent and camp out for the night.

Having lost their campervan, the Rangis went sight-seeing in Paris lost all their credit cards, money and match-tickets to the All Blacks' pool games when they left a bag on a sightseeing bus for a few minutes.

A web site has been set up to accept donations to help the Rangis keep their World Cup dream alive. The site address is www.mytradesman.co.nz

Web site co-owner Matt Burgess says Kiwis can help give back a lost dream to the Tauranga couple.

"They have had the very worst luck imaginable, they have lost their dream trip, it would be great to help them get it back," says Burgess.

Donations can be made by visiting www.mytradesman.co.nz
