ThePlops 'Amazing Me' show in Lower Hutt
ThePlops 'Amazing Me' show in Lower Hutt
Press Release: ThePlops
17th March 2009 1.30pm
How do you get kids under seven up on their feet, get their bodies and minds working, as well as having lots of fun? You send them to ThePlops show 'Amazing Me'!
This special event is based upon the Te Whariki curriculum, like all of ThePlops' shows, including: song, dance, exercise and loads of energy. Also ThePlops have just recently teamed up with SPARC and choreographed their dance moves to specifically help in the development of motor function skills.
“We are very excited to be working with SPARC and can’t wait to release our first music video, Let’s Go, aimed at getting children up and moving” says Raquel Sims, Creative Director of The Plops.
The Plops recently featured on the TV show Breakfast looking for a Cowboy to join them and the phones haven’t stopped ringing. “We had such a great response after being on TV and we can’t wait to show off our new Carey Cowboy!”
Because ‘Amazing Me’ is produced with help from Hutt City Council and Creative New Zealand Communities, entry is a koha donation only. This means that families from all walks of life can join in on the fun.
ThePlops have had an action packed summer,
performing at various events around Wellington. This next
show in Lower Hutt is a chance for ThePlops to get up and
personal with their fans.
