A Catch 22 where you actually win!

MEDIA RELEASE

Issued by The NBR New Zealand Opera

14 September 2009

A Catch 22 where you actually win!

The NBR New Zealand Opera has declared war on empty seats in its performances with the implementation of Catch $22.

Catch $22 allows everybody to purchase tickets from 10am on the day of the performance for just $22 each. But there’s a catch: the tickets are for the Best of the Worst seats in the house, and the tickets must be purchased in person from the venue box office.

A limited number of Catch $22 tickets will be available for each performance of The NBR New Zealand Opera’s Genesis Energy season of Eugene Onegin, opening on Thursday 17 September in Auckland and Saturday 10 October in Wellington. For instant ticket notification of how many tickets are up for grabs, subscribe to the Opera’s text message service by texting NZO to the number 2343.

The Genesis Energy season of Eugene Onegin is a musical, visual and dramatic feast – all for just $22 with Catch $22.
