Registered Master Builders 2009 Apprentice of the Year in association with Carters National winner to be announced this Thursday night

The winner of the Registered Master Builders Carters 2009 Apprentice of the Year will be announced in Wellington this Thursday night (October 22).
The national award-winner will be chosen from the 10 winners of regional competitions held around the country.

The announcement will be made at an awards dinner attended by the Minister for Building and Construction, Hon Maurice Williamson, and more than 100 industry leaders, young carpentry apprentices and their families.

Reporters and photographers are welcome to attend the event. The announcement of the award will be made at about 9.20pm following an address from guest speakers Steve Dunstan and Dan Buckley, founders of the clothing label Huffer.

When: Thursday 22 October, 6.30-10.30pm

Where: The Boatshed, Taranaki St Wharf, Wellington Waterfront
