MARAE DIY – Sunday November 8 at 8.00 PM
Te Ori Paki, Aroha Hathaway and the team join the whanau of Wairoa Marae, in Bethlehem. There’s a big DIY job in front of them - and did someone forget to mention that it’s Easter, and the shops and suppliers are closed?


BEAUTY REMAINS (SUNDAY FEATURE) – Sunday November 8 at 9.00 PM
Set in 1948 in pre-Communist China, this is the story of sisters Fei and Ying, one illegitimate and one born in wedlock, but bound together by the will of their late father, a legendary business entrepreneur. They are also caught up in a love triangle with a charismatic ex-boxer and casino owner, Huang. Directed by US-based Ann Hu, this is a story about characters bound by family obligations and social status.


AUNTY MOVES IN – Monday November 9 at 9.00 PM
Jesse and Alex are teenage parents with big plans, but juggling school and parenthood is no walk in the park. Aunties Ella and Ata move in to provide some skills and guidance.


SADDAM HUSSEIN: THE MASTER OF BAGHDAD (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) – Tuesday November 10 at 8.30 PM
From 1979, Saddam Hussein ruled Iraq with absolute control, a regime that combined nationalism and police terror, while being built on his distinctive leadership style. This documentary gathers testimonies, archives and images to follow his journey to power. Made in 2004 by Michel Vuillermet.


HE KOHA MA BOB MARLEY (NZ DOCO) – Wednesday November 11 at 8.30 PM
He has released two albums of Bob Marley songs in te reo Maori. Now Ruia Aperahama takes the music back to Jamaica, to the Marley estate - a koha from te iwi Maori to the legend of Bob Marley.
