Sallies Launch New Christmas CD - Just $5!

Great tunes for a great cause – the perfect formula for success at Christmas!

The Salvation Army’s new Christmas CD – “It’s a Wrap 2” – is available from Tuesday (24 November), only at Countdown, Foodtown and Woolworths stores, and for a $5 donation!

“We had such great success last year with our first Christmas CD going ‘double miraculous platinum’ (selling almost 40,000 copies) that we just had to do it again!” says the Salvation Army's Territorial Public Relations Secretary, Major Robert Ross.

“It’s a Wrap 2” features 15 very different Christmas tracks – by the Sallies’ own musicians, plus brilliant vocalist Bella Kalolo, barbershop quartet Musical Island Boys and jazz group Otis.

“By donating $5 you can get a terrific, and unique, Christmas CD and help us to help those in need. Proceeds from this CD will go toward our Christmas appeal, so please consider giving these CDs as gifts,” says Robert.

Peter Smith, Managing Director of Progressive Enterprises, adds: “Last year our customers absolutely loved being able to donate $5 to the Sallies and get a unique Christmas CD. We think that will be the case again this year. We’ll do our best to sell all 50,000 that the Sallies pressed.”
