Nature, it Walks
at Pixel Ink Gallery
Pixel Ink proudly
presents its forth group exhibition of natural wonders which
opens on Wednesday the 9th of December at Pixel Ink Gallery
in Newtown.
This pre-christmas exhibition titled 'Nature, it walks' explores the diverse natural and organic forms that surround us in our lives and contribute to our way of life.
“Nature has been a constant inspiration for many artists and we are continuing with this theme in the group exhibition”, says gallery director Rosalind Clark.
Artists from around New Zealand were invited to create artworks which communicate 'nature personified', including natural or organic forms, plant life, trees, fungi, flowers and forest creatures.
Clark said the exhibition will feature a great line-up of emerging and established artists and illustrators who have previously exhibited at Pixel Ink Gallery, as well as some names new to the gallery.
Featured artists:
Rosalind Clark, Amelie
Bernhardt, Andy McCready, Denise Ryan, Fifi Harrington,
KIRAN-X, Lauren McGrath, Melissa McDougall, Paul Tobin, Tom
Mackie and Paul Bradley.
