Cuba Street Night Market

The Cuba Street Night Market is a weekly get together in the open air at Kreuzeberg Café on the top end of Cuba Street. Capturing the unique creative spirit of Cuba Street the event will be a sure winner with all Wellingtonians. A family friendly atmosphere ensures Cuba Street Night Market will be a great, relaxed spot for picking up Christmas gifts that are all New Zealand made. Local music fans can head along to check out the latest up and coming performers. Foodies will enjoy the organic beer and low key, beautiful tastes on offer at quirky Kreuzeberg Café. “We believe that Wellington provides some of the best art and musicians in New Zealand and wanted to find a way to showcase this to everyone” stated Rebecca Barwood.

The Night Market will have new up and coming artists and musicians each week, every night will be unique. It is a place to celebrate and become involved in Creative Wellington. “We want to create an enjoyable, inspiring and easy way for Wellingtonian’s to benefit from the great local talent whilst promoting the artist. Good purchases are becoming more and more relevant and the creative scene is bursting at the seams! Kreuzberg is the perfect site for hosting such an event in true Wellington style” - Cally O’Neill.

Cuba Street Night Market will be held each Friday evening starting December 18th, 5-9pm at Kreuzenberg Café on the corner of Cuba and Webb Streets.

Stalls are still available; keen artists, crafters and musicians should register their interest by emailing artfestaotearoa@windowslive.com.
