Myspace Secret Shows Present the Cribs
MySpace is delighted to announce celebrated UK four-piece, The Cribs will be treating their Auckland fans to a FREE and intimate Secret Show on Tuesday February 23rd. Rumoured to be hosted at one of New Zealand’s most iconic private venues, The Cribs will showcase tracks from their latest album, ‘Ignore the Ignorant’ with their newest member Johnny Marr - former guitarist and songwriter for The Smiths.

Fans can find out specific location details for the Secret Show by adding www.myspace.com/secretshowsnz as a 'friend' and registering their mobile number on the profile from Monday February 15th. Once the secret location details of the show are revealed, they will be sent directly to the phones of registered MySpace users. Entry works on a first-come-first-served basis.

“MySpace has proved a vital instrument for us to connect with our fans and get our music heard and seen around the world and grow our fan base. This NZ Secret Show will be an opportunity for The Cribs to give back to our Kiwi supporters in a truly unique way,” said Gary Jarman, one of the founding three Jarman brothers in The Cribs.

“This Secret Show is a real coup for MySpace and we are delighted to be able to deliver The Crib’s distinctive strain of Brit pop-infused punk to their MySpace fans in an intimate location - for free no less!” said Julie Warmington, Marketing Manager, MySpace New Zealand.

MySpace Secret Shows are exclusive events held throughout the world featuring some of the biggest names in music and comedy, previous artists that have participated in the MySpace Secret Shows program in New Zealand have included; Cut Off Your Hands, Coco Solid, Elemeno P, Fall Out Boy, Evermore, Midnight Youth, Rhys Darby, Savage and The Checks.
