Return of the Splore Festival

Return of the Splore Festival

11 & 12 FEB 2011

Aotea Square, Town Hall & Concert Chamber Auckland City

Yes indeed folks, Splore is back right in the heart of our big beautiful city – Auckland, on the 11 & 12 February 2011.

Collectively we will bring all the colour, life, culture and quirkiness that Splore represents and transform the heart of the CBD into a Splorific megatropolis.

With the biennial Splore beach festival still a long 18 months away (Feb 2012), the head honchos at Splore HQ thought it best to bring all you fine Splorer’s back together for a good going session in the local hood. Imagine the joys of going home to your own bed or staying in a fancy pants hotel in the neighbourhood, having a hot shower and been able to jump on a bus, hop on your bike or even walk on down to the newly refurbished Aotea square, for the city party of the summer.

Splore-City will be all things Splore. Diversity with content and style as per usual reigns over two nights and one day, with all the Splore elements spread between main stage in the square; the Concert Chamber transforms into the Living Lounge and the Great Hall becomes centre stage for everything from workshops to a kick-arse all-night party.
