Call For Book Donations For Variety - The Children's Charity

With around four months to go until the Variety Monster Book Fair, Variety - The Children's Charity is calling for donations of good quality, pre-loved books, games, CDs, DVDs and puzzles.

The Monster Book Fair takes place from Thursday, 28 July to Sunday, 31 July at Alexandra Park with all funds raised going to Variety - The Children's Charity. Funds from the Fair go towards the Variety Future Kiwi Kids Programme to help sick, disabled and disadvantaged Kiwi kids to fulfill their academic, artistic and sporting potential. In 2010, sales exceeded $115,000.

The Variety Monster Book Fair is unique in that it is the only event of its kind that categorises its books into over 200 different subject categories, thus enabling purchasers easy access to their specific areas of interest.

Books can be either dropped off to Variety's office at 290 Great South Rd, Greenlane from 8.30am - 5.00pm weekdays or Variety's special 'Book Bus' can pick them up if requested. Please call the Variety office on 09 520-4111. The Book Bus will pick up in areas within a 20km radius of Greenlane.
