The stakes are high to create a fantastic feast

The cream of New Zealand ’s hospitality elite at Feast by Famous Chefs this Sunday 17th July at The Langham, Auckland , as part of the New Zealand Culinary Fare.

Imagine the pressure of cooking for more than 100 of the industry’s most educated and refined palates, on a deadline and up against other top talent? These top chefs will be aiming to surprise and delight this top audience and in doing so will create a spectacular celebration of Auckland ’s most amazing cuisine.

Feast by Famous Chefs is the hospitality industry’s gala event, with a lavish cocktail party, and featuring food stations created by famous chefs; Des Harris – Executive Chef Clooney, Ben Bayly – Executive Chef The Grove, Volker Marecek – Executive Chef The Langham, Yoshito Okada – Executive Chef Industry Zen, Paul Jobin – Executive Chef SKYCITY Auckland Ltd Restaurant Portfolio and Jason van Dorsten – Executive Chef Café Hanoi, all offering a small taste that signifies their style.

Usually a formal sit down meal, Feast by Famous Chef’s move to a high end cocktail party will be a fantastic way to celebrate the success of the Hall of Fame winner. Serving the very best culinary delights to the hospitality industry’s elite.

Running alongside the New Zealand Culinary Fare this weekend is the Restaurant and Bar Show, a trade show to help prepare the hospitality industry for the demands of the upcoming busy season. Featuring a range of exhibitors, ‘Match Ready’ seminars and Telecom Masterclasses with veteran restaurateur Pete Goffe-Wood, it’s a must visit for all those wanting to be prepared for the hectic next few months.

The excitement is also building for the Bar Masters competition, on as part of the Restaurant and Bar Show. As the 12 finalists have been announced and are preparing to compete against each other to take out the national title, in a dazzling display of flair, skill and creativity.
