Kathy Fray, NZ’s top selling author on Childbirth & Infants

1 August 2011

Kathy Fray is NZ’s top selling author on Childbirth and Infants

Now in it’s extraordinary 6th imprint Kathy Fray’s “OH BABY … Birth, Babies & Motherhood Uncensored” has truly become the NZ ‘bible’ for new mums-to-be. When you read its rave reviews from critics, and its copious customer complimentary accolades, such praise is an honour and tribute to any writer. This book has experienced phenomenal success!

Kathy as the author, describes herself as “just a mum” and a “work-in-progress” but that isn’t precisely true. Kathy is a wife and mum of three, but she is also a fulltime self-employed north Auckland midwife, the popular weekly Parenting columnist in Woman’s Day magazine, and a founding director of BabyOK™ products (famous for their Babe-Sleeper attached sleepsack which Kathy co-designed).

Kathy is now the top-selling parenting author in the country, behind only the terrific ‘politically-incorrect’ Nigel Latta thanks in part to his successful TV series.

More recently Random House publishing have launched Kathy’s long-awaited sequel book “OH GROW UP … Toddlers to PreTeens Decoded”, which has attracted quite a number of top celebrity endorsements. OH GROW UP is without doubt revolutionary as a parenting guide, assisting us to parent our child’s body using Physiological IQ; to parent our child’s mind using Intellectual IQ; and fascinatingly to parent our child’s spirit using Soulful IQ … or as Kathy describes it “wholistic” parenting. It is a ground-breaking and exceptional manuscript.

At the 30Sep-2Oct Auckland Parent & Child Show Kathy will be available at booth no.111 to personally autograph books, as well as being a keynote speaker at the free seminars, talking on:
• “ORGANIC BIRTH” - Understanding Natural Labour
• “WHY THEY CRY” - Understanding Newborn Body- Language Signs
