Rhythm and Vines 2011 – Wrap-up

As the sun set on the last day of 2011, revellers had already witnessed some of the biggest names in music at NZ’s biggest New Year’s Eve festival, Rhythm and Vines.

With the festival officially selling out, over 28,000 festival-goers poured through the gates over the three-day period to take in performances from Example, Calvin Harris, Pendulum, Grandmaster Flash, Skream & Benga, Erick Morillo, Netsky, Architecture in Helsinki, Cut Copy, David Dallas, Kids of 88 and more.

Rhythm and Vines has earned a solid reputation for bringing the very best artists down under; and with 2012 being its tenth anniversary, fans will no doubt be in for a treat when the line-up is announced later this year.

• 5,000 onsite campers
• 29,000 tickets sold
• Largest NZ New Year’s Eve festival
