Free FM chalks it up

Free FM is calling on local artists to help turn Garden Place into a work of art at its first ever Chalk Fest on Saturday, 29 September 2012.

The free, family-friendly event is part of the Hamilton Fringe Festival programme, and aimed at celebrating creativity in the community.

Spectators are welcome, with music and entertainment from 11am till 2pm.

Chalk artists will be judged in two categories (Family and Friends) on their creativity, originality, skill, and use of colour. Every entry wins a prize, plus there will be prizes for first place in each category, plus $100 cash for the Supreme Award winner.

To register as an artist email info@freefm.org.nz. Spaces are limited, so be in quick to avoid disappointment.

All are welcome. For more information telephone Free FM on 07 834 2170.
